Robert Griffin III Expected to Start at QB on Sunday
- Updated: December 19, 2012
According to NFL Network Reporter, Albert Breer will be starting quarterback vs division rival the 4-10 Philadelphia Eagles, who will likely have running back LeSean McCoy back from a concussion.
As I just said on ATL, the Redskins expect Robert Griffin III to start on Sunday, barring any setbacks. The story: nfl.com/news/story/0ap…

Griffin did not play last Sunday vs. the Cleveland Browns due to a sprained right knee. The Redskins still won without Griffin, but it would be that much better for Robert to playing against the Eagles. The Washington Redskins defeated the Eagles Week 11 of the NFL season 31-6. Griffin III finished the game with 200 yards passing, completing 14-of-15 attempts. He also led Washington in rushing with 84 yards on 12 carries.
Griffin is completing 66 percent of his passes on the season, has 2,902 yards and 18 touchdowns against just four interceptions. The Redskins can still win the NFC East, and are also in the running with four other potential teams for the NFC’s wild card.
