Trevor Bauer pitched for the Cleveland Indians during their successful years in the last decade – before last season being dealt to the Cincinnati Reds during the trade deadline last season. He was the losing pitcher in Game 3 of the 2018 ALDS, which sent the Indians home for the winter.
Aside the point, Trevor Bauer has been one of the most interesting personalities on the diamond. He was the guy who still showed up after that trade deadline deal to Progressive Field in Cleveland, just to get an opportunity to say good-bye to his old team. His philosophy on life, in general, is just interesting to listen to, especially on the level of another perspective.
One more, for good measure.
The tweet that is getting the most juice here comes in light of the Houston Astros firing both manager A.J. Hinch & General Manager Jeff Luhlow – which I am in full confidence that this is one of the greatest tweets of all time.
Great work, Bauer Outage.
Do I think the Houston Astros were penalized enough? It’s tough to say. $5 million dollars and losing your top two picks in the MLB Draft over two years can impact your farm system, especially when it comes to contending and dealing for talent to help your team over time. Do other teams of some regard steal signs? Yes. It happens all throughout sports. Might want to check in with Alex Cora & the Boston Red Sox, who were also linked in a report to sign stealing.
