If the NBA season ended right now, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat would face off in a 2 vs. 7 series in the first round. Cleveland holds a 2.5 game lead over Chicago for the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.

The Miami Heat hold a .5 game lead on the Brooklyn Nets for the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference. This series would be extremely intriguing because both teams have changed drastically throughout this season.

The Cavaliers have added Timofey Mozgov, J.R. Smith, and Iman Shumpert. The Heat added Goran Dragic and Hassan Whiteside has become a huge factor to their success.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are the obvious favorites in this series and in the Eastern Conference, but the Heat could pose a threat to the Cavaliers. The Heat could potentially stretch this series out to a 6 or even 7 game series if they can control the glass. Dragic and Dwyane Wade would also need to play out of their minds against LeBron James and the Cavaliers.

The Cleveland Cavaliers just look too hot right now for any team to go out and beat them, at least in the Eastern Conference. If the Cavaliers make it to the Finals, they will be tested by an extremely talented team coming out of the Western Conference. My Finals predictions right now is the Cleveland Cavaliers squaring off against the Golden State Warriors.
