The Detroit Pistons add more to their depth on the lineup/bench as they sign 38-year-old guard Joe Johnson to a one year, partially guaranteed deal.
Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes reports that the team plans to ‘likely’ release forward Michael Beasley correspondingly to make a roster spot for Johnson.
Johnson is coming off an MVP season in Ice Cube’s BIG3 Basketball League, where he broke the single-season record for most points and assists.
He also led the league in points, assists, 4-point plays, and six game-winning shots.
