Pablo Sandavol Broken Hand. What will the Giants be missing?
- Updated: May 3, 2012
After the Giants lose the powerful slugger, “Kung Fu Panda”, Pablo Sandoval, manager Bruce Bochy is left saying “You just don’t replace a guy like Pablo. The guy was on the All-Star team last year. There are few guys in Major League Baseball who can do things he can do with the bat.”
The Giants will be missing a key player in their lineup; Pablo was hitting .316 with 5 HR’s and 15 RBI’s. He led the team in Homers and RBI’s but was second in Average to Buster Posey.
Even though the Giants have not been that successful so far, what success they did have was greatly achieved from the all-star third basemen Pablo Sandavol. He broke his hamate bone in his left hand, he is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.
