Training camp for all 32 NFL teams has officially begun, and there will be a lot of things happening regarding those teams.

With the regular season set to begin in Chicago in September, I have made predictions on what team will land as division champion in December. I will be starting my prediction series here with the AFC East.

DISCLAIMER: these predictions are based off of opinion and facts. Fans with their own opinions or takes are welcome.

Buffalo Bills

Year 2 of the Josh Allen era comes in with a couple big question marks. Can Allen further develop his throw? Can the team mesh together?

I think they can, if the offensive line sticks together and stays healthy. We know offensively the running game is good, but Allen’s inaccuracy was an issue and it showed in a couple games.

The defense got bolstered with the addition of No. 9 draft pick Ed Oliver and that should help boost their pass rush and run defense in the interior, but the secondary should help to contribute even after earning 16 interceptions last season.

The Bills have a solid roster that should take the next step, but time will tell if everything is in place to earn themselves a playoff spot.

Miami Dolphins

Everyone in Miami has probably heard that the Dolphins are rebuilding. And it will likely will be a long season for them.

With the hiring of head coach Brian Flores and trading for quarterback Josh Rosen, they are taking baby steps to make sure the rebuild is going to plan.

Players such as running back Kenyon Drake, cornerback Xavier Howard, and wide receiver Albert Wilson should provide some good stats and performances for the team, but overall, it will be a tough season for everyone on the roster.

I’ll be watching for Miami and to see if they can just slowly improve themselves, but to be blunt, I agree it will be a long fall for the team and fanbase down in South Beach.

New England Patriots

As they are coming off their sixth Super Bowl title, you would think New England would slow down and regress, right? Nope.

The Patriots are doing anything they can to get to their seventh title this century. By drafting wide receiver N’Keal Harry and quarterback Jarrett Stidham, they’re building up for the present and for the future.

With the recent injury to Super Bowl MVP Julian Edelman, I believe they can work around his injury.

We should see another playoff run by the Patriots, but as long as quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick are around, it’s almost a guarantee at this rate.

New York Jets

Aside from the Le’Veon Bell news and the shakeup of personnel, the Jets have quietly had a good offseason.

New York added some good defensive talent as in No. 3 pick Quennen Williams and signing linebacker C.J. Mosley. But their biggest concern is on offense.

I think Sam Darnold should take strides and improve his play from last season. However it’s the question that goes to the offensive line, as they were ranked near the bottom of the league.

I’m also concerned about the hiring of Adam Gase as head coach. Yes, he does well with quarterbacks, but throughout the rest of the team, he has to make sure everyone on both side come together and buy in.

Good luck Jets, I think you will take steps to better than your record stood last year.

Season Record Projections:

1) New England Patriots 12-4*

2) Buffalo Bills 8-8

3) New York Jets 6-10

4) Miami Dolphins 3-13

The Patriots will win the division based on their schedule alone and how their division is based on strength. They’ll likely land as a first-round bye in the process.
