Murray continues career in Tennessee

DeMarco Muray has had a turbulent start to his young career and has already went from Dallas to Philadelphia and now is going to continue his career with the Titans. The Eagles reportedly traded the young running back to the Titans for what is expected to be a few draft picks. Not long ago DeMarco was a hot commodity in the NFL after he lead the league in rushing yards in 2014 (1,845 rushing yards with the Cowboys), but after a slumping season with the Eagles where he had a career low of 3.6 yards per carry, the hype surrounding the young running back has decreased significantly. Murray went from one of the top running backs in the NFL on a playoff team too a below average running back on a team that missed out on the playoffs. This trade seems to make sense for the Eagles because they will clear some cap space, but is there any chance we will look back on this move and consider it smart for the Titans. The Titans finished a dismal 25th in the NFL in rushing yards (1485) and if Murray can play at a fraction of his old self this move could really pay off for the Titans, who already have a quarterback with a bright future.  The Tennessee Titans needed a spark in their offense and DeMarco Murray just might be it, if he can perform like we all know he is capable of doing. Philadelphia Eagles v New York Giants
