Mock Draft (NFL)

  1. Los Angeles Rams will pick quarterback Jared Goff– What a way to move from St. Louis to Los Angeles with a number one draft pick and it should be obvious that they will look to pick up a quarterback so they will have other options than Case Keenum this seasons, experts say Goff is the most NFL ready quarterback in the draft this year.
  2. Philadelphia Eagles will pick quarterback Carson Wentz– The Eagles were supposed to have the 13th overall pick this year then they traded up to the eighth and recently they traded with the Browns for the second overall pick. It would be shocking to say the least to see the Eagles give up so much and not pick a quarterback, right now the starter for the Eagles is the injury prone Sam Bradford and not many people see him as a long term solution.
  3. San Diego Charger will pick Offensive Tackle Laremy Tunsil– The Chargers had a lot of problems with their offensive line last year and Tunsil seems like the best fit for this team. Philip Rivers is an above average quarterback who, with some protection up front could lead the Chargers into being a potential playoff team.
  4. Dallas Cowboys will pick defensive end Joey Bosa– With Greg Hardy no longer on the team and their second round draft pick Randy Gregory facing a suspension the Cowboys need to plug a hole on their defensive line. Although personally I would like to see the Cowboys get a play maker like Ezekiel Elliot, Bosa is probably the most logical option.
  5. Jacksonville Jaguars will pick linebacker Myles Jack– Jack is the most talented linebacker in this draft and the Jaguars could use him to bolster their mediocre defense. The Jaguars are a young team with a good, young quarterback in Blake Bortles and for the first time in a long time the future is looking bright for Jacksonville.
  6. Baltimore Ravens will pick corner-back Jalen Ramsey- Some experts say Ramsey might be the most talented player in this draft and the Ravens could certainly use his help. Getting this kid with the sixth pick might end up being quite the steal.
  7. San Francisco 49ers will pick Offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley– The 49ers have a lot of holes to fill going into this draft but getting a good, talented O-lineman like Stanley would be a good start.
  8. Cleveland Browns will pick running back Ezekiel Elliot– Elliot is by far the best running back in this draft class and although Cleveland traded down look for them to go for a play maker in this first round. Elliot is simply the best player left on this theoretical board, right?
  9. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will pick defensive back Vernon Hargreaves– The Bucs need help in their secondary and this is a pretty good opportunity for them to do just that.
  10. The New York Giants will pick Offensive tackle Jack Conklin– The Giants need to protect Eli for the years he has left and this will also give him more time to throw the ball up to Odell Beckham Jr., more one-handed catches anyone?
  11. The Chicago Bears will pick linebacker Leonard Floyd– The Bears could use all the help they can get defensively and linebacker is one of the more important positions.
  12. The New Orleans Saints will pick Defensive Tackle Sheldon Rankins– This is a draft class filled with great options for defensive lineman and the Saints need help in that area.
  13. The Miami Dolphins will pick defensive back Eli Apple– Love this kids name and he is very talented, the Dolphins could use his help in their secondary if they want any chance at competing with the Patriots.
  14. The Oakland Raiders will pick linebacker Reggie Ragland– After filling the outside linebacker gap with Khalil Mack last year it would be nice to get a talented inside linebacker like Ragland in this years draft. Remember, last years AFC West and Super Bowl champs starting quarterback will probably be Mark Sanchez this year…
  15. The Tennessee Titans will pick offensive tackle Taylor Decker–  The Titans should really be looking for ways to give Mariota more protection up front this year and Decker would be a good way to make that happen.
  16. The Detroit Lions will pick center Ryan Kelly– Straight from Alabama this young man should help protect Stafford from getting too banged up next year.
  17. The Atlanta Falcons will pick linebacker Darron Lee– A very good pick at seventeen and he should help boost the Falcons depleted defense.
  18. The Indianapolis Colts will pick defensive end Shaq Lawson– Although he is not over seven feet tall this Shaq would sure be helpful to the Colts who could use help on their defensive line.
  19. The Buffalo Bills will pick defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche– The Bills defense, like their entire team, fell short of expectations last year and this young defensive lineman will look to change that.
  20. The New York Jets will pick quarterback Paxton Lynch– With Fitzpatrick still not signed the Jets will almost be forced to draft Lynch unless they want another year of Geno Smith.
  21. The Washington Redskins will pick defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson–  The Redskins have Cousins, who put forth a great season last year and this pick will look to bolster their defense which they will need to do if they want to make a deep postseason push.
  22. The Houston Texans will pick wide receiver Corey Coleman–  I mean DeAndre Hopkins is really great but they simply need more depth at the receiver position and this pick could help that.
  23. The Minnesota Vikings will pick wide receiver Laquon Treadwell-The Vikings finally have a somewhat good quarterback, now they need people to catch the balls he throws.
  24. The Cincinnati Bengals will pick wide receiver Will Fuller– Anyone starting to see a theme here? The Bengals also need more depth at this position.
  25. The Pittsburgh Steelers will pick defensive back Artie Burns – They have a promising and young defense and adding Burns will add to that.
  26. The Seattle Seahawks will pick offensive guard Germain Ifedi– You can never go wrong with too much protection and Russell Wilson is definitely worth protecting.
  27. The Green Bay Packers will pick Tight End Hunter Henry– Partially because I want to see a tight end taken in the first round and partially cause Rodgers could use the help.
  28. The Kansas City Chiefs will pick defensive back William Jackson III– One of the best players left on the board and the Chiefs could use him to make their already good secondary even better.
  29. The Arizona Cardinals will pick defensive back Mackensie Alexander– Could be a good fit for the Cardinals, a talented player who could go a lot higher.
  30. The Carolina Panthers will pick running back Derrick Henry– I like Henry and I would like him even more paired with Cam Newton talk about power running.
  31. The Denver Broncos will pick offensive guard Joshua Garnett– This pick could help the running game which they may need to rely on with Mark Sanchez as their starter…

A quick shout out to New England who doesn’t have a pick so I don’t have to write anymore, hope the Super Bowl was worth it.
