People are faced with bumps in the road throughout life. It feels like no matter what they can not win. Sometimes it is something they want that others will not let them do. No matter what, the people are faced with a hard decision on what to do with it.
Colin Kaepernick has been faced with this dilemma.
After starting his silent protest of kneeling for the national anthem before every NFL game, Kaepernick was released by the San Francisco at the end of the 2016 NFL Season. Since then, Kaepernick has not been able to get an offer from another NFL team.
Earlier this month, Kaepernick filed a grievance against NFL owners after he has not been able to be signed by any NFL team.
Kaepernick is hitting one of his “bumps in the road” as it seems. NFL owners have been stopping him from doing what he wants. Even though the odds are against him, Kaepernick has received some backup.
Master P, a famous American rapper, has told TMZ reporters in an interview earlier today that he stands with Kaepernick.
“I’ll help him start his own league. I think he should, I mean he’s a great football player. I think the NFL should have some competition.” Master P states in an interview with TMZ earlier today.
The thought of starting a new football league to give the NFL competitions sounds like a plan ready for failure. Master P is very familiar with the creation of sports leagues. The startup of his Global Mixed Gender Basketball League is off to a very hot start. This league has attracted former NBA players: Glen “Big Baby” Davis and Metta World Piece.
Master P plans to stand by Colin Kaepernick on trying to gain ownership of his own league. This is the only way Kaepernick can have full control of what players can and cannot do.
Master P suggests, “If you can’t join ’em, beat ’em.”
