March Madness player profile: Buddy Hield

After yet another exciting weekend of college basketball there are only four teams left standing, one of those teams is the number two seeded Oklahoma Sooners. A large part of the Sooners success this season has been their star player Buddy Hield who scored a team high 37 points in the Sooners victory over top seeded Oregon. Hield is in his senior season and is expected to go fairly high in the NBA draft this year after an impressive season where he put up 25.4 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game. Hield is averaging 29.3 points per game in the NCAA tournament, which is the third highest throughout the tournament. Hield was also the second highest scoring player in division one this year and has been dominant throughout this season. The Sooners will play Villanova in the final four and it looks like they will need more of the same from their young star guard Hield if they will be able to win the championship.NCAA Basketball Tournament - West Regional - Anaheim
