In just a few short days the NCAA tournament will resume and the round of sixteen will showcase another exciting round of games. However one of the most exciting games of the tournament thus far came when seventh seeded Wisconsin beat out second seeded Xavier on a last second buzzer beater, but let us take a moment to focus on the man behind the shot, Bronson Koenig. Koenig is currently in the midst of his senior season and put together an impressive tournament performance in the Badgers win over Xavier posting a team high twenty points and hitting 6 of his 12 three point attempts including the game winning three at the end of the game. This came after a dismal performance against Pittsburgh in the first round where Koenig only scored two points. Koenig averaged 13.3 points per game this season and stands at six foot four as a guard for the Badgers. Koenig will certainly be an essential part of the Badgers games if they want to go far in this tournament and with a tough Notre Dame team in their path the Badgers may need another miracle…or two if they want to win it all.NCAA Basketball Tournament - Second Round - St Louis
