Lakers Shock Thunder, Comeback Time?
- Updated: January 27, 2013
The Lakers disappointing season may be starting to look up finally with a huge wins over the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder. Kobe Bryant fell just one rebound short both games from having a pair of triple doubles. The Lakers finally showed signs of chemistry on offense, and more importantly on the defensive side of the ball. Kobe Bryant had 14 assists in the game passing Micheal Jordan for third on the all time assist record for shooting guards.
The Lakers beat the Thunder by a score of 105 to 96. A couple of clutch shots by Bryant and Nash, as well as some defensive pressure sealed the dismal shooting thunder’s chances. With two back to back impressive wins the Lakers are finally starting to look like the team they were expected to be. The obvious question now is, can they make the playoffs, or even make a serious run? Well if they continue to play like this then the answer is yes they can.
Key Players
Lakers- Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Dwight Howard, and Pau Gasol
Thunder- Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and Kendrick Perkins
