Recently Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy talked about running back Eddie Lacy. Lacy is listed at 5’11” and 234 pounds, though a report from training camp put him at 242.

“Eddie has a lot of work to do,” McCarthy said, per Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “I’m stating the obvious. His offseason was not what it should be, and he never recovered from it. He cannot play at the weight he did this year.”

He emerged as a solid running back putting up 1,100 yards in each of 2013 and 2014 and scored 20 combined rushing touchdowns. Lacy ran for just 758 yards and three scores on 187 carries this year.

He now must lose 30 pounds.
