Dolphins sign Tannehill through 2020 on 96 Million extension, 45 Million Guaranteed

Ryan Tannehill has done nothing but improve ever since being drafted as the Miami Dolphins signal caller back in 2012, since then the steady improvement of Tannehill has been glaringly obvious from season to season.

From his rookie season to his previous season his passer rating tallied:


His most recent passer rating was 12th among all quarterbacks last season also throwing 4.045 and 27 touchdowns, not bad for a former full time wide receiver at Texas A&M.

In a league where the uncertainty of the most important positions is usually the highest, Miami has no problem “over-paying” for a star-to-be in Ryan Tannehill, who’s best years are undoubtedly ahead of him,
