After the NFL signed a deal with rapper Jay-Z, some players were critical of the deal including Kenny Stills of the Miami Dolphins.
Kenny Stills expressed disdain about how Jay-Z handled going about his NFL social justice partnership but he’s willing to see it out and hope it works. The key is will we see real tangible, not just monetary, change in this partnership? Story: https://t.co/ICU9WK5meR

The Miami Dolphins seemed to troll Stills after playing eight straight songs from Jay-Z to start practice. ESPN writer Cameron Wolfe was on the beat:
Playlist to start Dolphins practice: “Show Me What You Got by Jay-Z, “Brooklyn We Go Hard” by Jay, “Ni**gas in Paris” by Jay and Kanye West, and “Run This Town” by Jay and Rihanna. All in a row. Would be an incredible coincidence after Kenny Stills’ comments about Jay yesterday.

Make that five in a row. “On to the Next One,” by Jay-Z going right now.

Another one: No Church in the Wild by Jay and Kanye.

99 Problems going now. This is either some big-time trolling or the DJ is the biggest Jay fan ever.

This doesn’t seem like a coincidence as it happened the day after Stills made his comments. Head coach Brian Flores is a Belichick disciple, so maybe this is a bit of “Defend the Shield” scenario, trying to protect the NFL’s new deal with Jay-Z.
Either way this a kind of funny, kind of bad look for the league/team.
Good news is, NFL football starts in about two weeks!
