The Orlando Magic have agreed to terms with guard E”Twaun Moore. They’ll announce more of the signing in the near future, two sources told the Orlando Sentinel.

“There’s an opportunity there in Orlando, and I think he wanted to seize the opportunity,” said Mark Bartelstein, who is Moore’s agent. “Both [Magic GM] Rob Hennigan and [Magic assistant GM] Matt Lloyd did a great job of recruiting him, making their pitch and explaining why it’ll be a great fit.”

Moore is a 6 foot 4, guard who played in 38 games for the Boston Celtics during is rookie season last year. While on the Magic he’ll get a chance to compete with Ish Smith for the backup point-guard job. He could see time behind Arron Afflalo and J.J. Redick at shooting guard.

While he was a second round pick, he averaged 2.9 points and 0.9 rebounds in 8.7 minutes per game. He has lots of potential. I think that this was a good move by Orlando.
