The Dallas Cowboys have announced that they will release Dez Bryant.
Bryant, is a three time Pro Bowler started his career as a Cowboys in 2011. His last season over 1,000 receiving yards was in 2014. For someone who considered himself a star receiver, that’s not star stats.
Early reports indicated the Cowboys were going to be bringing him back. But that has changed.
Cowboys expected to release WR Dez Bryant today, barring an unexpected last-minute change of heart, per @toddarcher and me. But the plan going into meeting that is now underway was to part ways with Bryant.

UPDATE: he reportedly told the Cowboys he would meet them twice a year. Hinting he would stay in the NFC East.
