We’ve been covering a LOT of ground with Borderlands lately, as Gearbox is hosting a panel next week at PAX East that will feature several new reveals. But one in particular could bring back a favorite that we haven’t seen in quite some time- the game that started it all.

Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition has been rumored for some time, but a new listing over on the ESRB rating siteindicates we’re getting the game once and for all. It current shows an M for mature rating, and is set to arrive on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Now it’s just a question of when.

Gearbox will likely show off and announce the game this Thursday when its panel takes place, among other things. It’s set to go live at 2:00 PM EDT, and will be broadcast live from the event.

As for what players can expect from the game, it’s likely to be the full adventure, complete with all its DLC intact. On top of that, it should include all of its DLC packs, so you get the all-in-one package as we’ve gotten with previous GOTY releases. That said, it did note that in-game purchases were present, but these will likely be optional at best. It should also feature remastered visuals, like what Borderlands: The Handsome Collection did for Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel a little while back.

This could be good news for fans that have been waiting (patiently) for the first Borderlands to get some love. We’ll see what gets announced over the next few days.
