According to an article by UPMatters.com, the body of 55-year-old Anthony McCullough, has been found dead after it was found floating in the waters of Escanaba Harbor earlier today.
McCullough was a member of the Hannahville Tribal Indian Community in the south central Upper Peninsula.
The Escanaba Police Department said in the article that they recovered McCullough’s body after it was seen drifting face down just offshore and near the Harbor Master Building.
Authorities believe McCullough’s death was due to an accidental drowning, but investigation continues on where McCullough was last seen prior. Foul play is not suspected to be a factor.
