Battle of the Blues: Part Two

Updated: March 9, 2013

That’s right ladies and gentlemen the time has come for the North Carolina Tarheels to take on the Duke Blue Devils for the second time this year. This game is one of the biggest rivalries in sports today.  Records and talent do not matter as both teams despise each other and will fight to the very end to win this game. North Carlina’s pride and joy will be the final game of the ACC regular season just like always.

Whether or not you bleed some shade of blue this game like always is sure to be a heart stopping event and a great game. The Tarheels are riding a six game win streak with junior Reggie Bullock, while Duke finally has their star Ryan Kelly back after a long injury. This game will be in Chapel Hill. Normally this game would determine the ACC regular season champion, but the surprisingly good Miami already has that locked away.

Duke took their first match up this year after Carolina had lead most of the game, but could not stop the infamous Duke run in Cameron. This time Duke will not have the “Cameron Crazies” on their side but will have to deal with a equally loud Dean Dome. This should be, like always a game for the ages.
