Just a few days removed after the first major winter storm this season hit the Upper Peninsula, an another winter storm is fast approaching.
According to WLUC-TV6 and Jack Hall from the Radio Results Network, a winter storm watch is now in effect for much of the central and western U.P. This include the highland portions and away from Lake Superior in Marquette County.
Heavy, accumulated snow (estimated total of between 12-20 inches) is forecasted after midnight Saturday night through Sunday.
There will also be wind gusts out of the northeast ranging up to 40 MPH and a possibility of more power outages as well.
Travel is expected to be very difficult for those who are heading out or back home after the Thanksgiving holiday. Please use precaution and be prepared before you leave.
