An amazing Story

The 2016 MLB season is less than a month old and already a new face is shocking the baseball world, the Colorado Rockies rookie short stop who has hit an astonishing seven home runs in his first six career games. Trevor Story is only twenty three years old but has been red hot so far in his rookie season, Trevor also currently leads the Major League with twelve runs batted in (RBI’s). The Colorado Rockies stadium has been known as a pitchers nightmare with a very hitter friendly reputation, but despite this Story’s start is still making baseball analysts jaw drop with his amazing start to his season. Talk about a start to a career as Trevor is already making cases as a front runner in both the rookie of the year and MVP races. The Colorado Rockies are a mediocre 3-3 to start this season and few see them as a legitimate playoff threat, however crazier things have happened and certainly having this red hot shortstop doesn’t hurt. Whether or not Story continues this hot streak throughout the season is yet to be seen (however it seems unlikely), but he is certainly making stories with the way he is playing thus far in this season. The Colorado Rockies will face their division rivals the San Francisco Giants (5-2) tomorrow at 8:40 P.M. (Eastern Time) to start a three game series in Colorado against the Giants. One thing is for certain about this young rookie, he has talent and will likely be making stories for years to come with the Colorado Rockies. San Diego Padres v Colorado Rockies
