The Miami Heat are interested in Toronto Raptors’ point guard Kyle Lowry, and might be players for him this off season if LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh all opt out of their current contracts. Lowry appears to be a tough sign for anyone in the NBA, as it seems like his stock is rising continuously daily after his breakout season. Although, his body language and recent interviews suggest he wants to stay in Toronto, passing on the likes of Los Angeles, Miami, and New York might be difficult for the guard. Like in the Carmelo Anthony sweepstakes, the big three might need to take pay-cuts if they want to play with Kyle Lowry. The Toronto Raptors would need to overpay him regardless, but Lowry is my favorite to be the most overpaid next year. At the very minimum, I see Lowry signing a 4 year deal worth somewhere near 40 million. You can read my offseason outlook on the Toronto Raptors here.
