The NBA announced today, Memphis Grizzlies’ power forward, Zach Randolph, will be suspended for game seven against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Randolph took a swing at his counterpart, Steven Adams, in game six as the Thunder had just taken possession and were trotting down court.
Randolph, 32, has been one of the Grizzles’ most consistent players, and in 79 regular season games, averaged a double-double with 17.4 point and 10.1 rebounds per game.
The loss could have a crucial impact on the outcome of the series. Memphis is a victory away from upsetting the Thunder and will be desperately missing their reliable forward in game seven.
