Jets Shock the Falcons On Monday Night Football
- Updated: October 8, 2013
After starting the season being ranked thirty second in power rankings by espn the Jets have shown that they shouldn’t be slept on.
The Jets, lead by rookie quarterback Geno Smith, shocked the NFL world Monday night when they beat the Atlanta Falcons 30-28 with a last second drive by the jets, and a field goal by kicker Nick Folk.
The jets are now 3-2 and will be facing the winless Pittsburg Steelers next week. The Falcons however are now 1-4 and they are four games out of the top of third division.
The Falcons led by Matt Ryan “Matty Ice” had a furious fourth quarter comeback scoring two touchdown to give the Falcons the lead, but the Geno lead Jets drove the ball down the field and with the clock at three seconds Nick Folks kicked a 43 yard game winning field goal.
Look out Patriots and the AFC east the gets are here, for now. Even though they are 1-4 don’t take the Falcons out of the picture just yet they are still capable of being a threat, and after playoff runs the past several years look out for the Falcons.
