Miami Heat superstar LeBron James had the best year of his career in 2013, leading his team to the highly coveted Larry O’brien trophy. LeBron collected his fourth MVP award, second NBA championship ring and second Finals MVP award. But LeBron who is now considered the greatest player on the planet isn’t done yet. LeBron James set a career high in field-goal percentage(56.5 percent) and three-point shooting percentage (40.6 percent). LeBron James also tallied a career high rebounds (8.0 per game). LeBron James averaged 7.3 assists per game and was still able to finish 4th in the league in scoring.

Although we seen an almost unstoppable LeBron last season, he still hasn’t reached the his best. “I’m going to come back a better player, because I owe it to my teammates,” LeBron told ESPN.com. LeBron James who left Cleveland for success, has found it in Miami as the Heat have won back to back NBA championships but this year was much harder than last year.

The Miami Heat who had a sensational regular season after going on a 27 game winning streak making experts believe they would blow through the playoffs, but the rest of the league had different plans for LeBron and company. Miami got through Milwaukee and Chicago in less than 6 games, the problems came against the Pacers and Spurs. LeBron carried Miami in two straight seven game series, Miami ended up winning the championship in Miami against the Spurs where LeBron scored 37 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in one of the biggest games in his career.

LeBron James is one of the most hated players in the game but you cannot deny greatness. LeBron James who is only getting better is proving that he may finish his career as the greatest of all time.

Is LeBron the best player in the league? And is he the best ever?
