As in previous years, Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard has generated a lot of buzz this off season.

Howard, an unrestricted free agent, has made it known that he wants to test the free agent market and make a decision that best suits him.

As of last month,  Howard has reportedly   the Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, Golden State Warriors, Atlanta Hawks, and of course he has the option of re-signing with the Lakers

Several reports have surfaced within the past week of Howard and Clippers point guard Chris Paul wanting to be teammates, and the only way for that to take place with the Clippers, would be for each of the LA teams to do a sign and trade deal that would send Howard to the Clippers.

The proposed trade saw Howard being swapped for Clippers forward and guard, Blake Griffin and Eric Bledsoe. However, a league source familiar with the Lakers’ front office’s reasoning said, “they‚Äôll either resign Dwight or walk away with cap space.”

The Clippers and Lakers have a history of each not being very fond of the other, so it’s unlikely either team would want to do any type of deal with each other.
