Mike Brown’s Son Recruited To Butler
- Updated: April 17, 2013
Guard Elijah Brown, son of former Lakers coach Mike Brown, has signed his national letter-of-intent to play at Butler.
Last season, the 6-foot-4 guard averaged 17.3 points and led Santa Ana Mater Dei to a 34-2 record, and helped them win their second straight California state title. He is the fourth player in Butler’s recruiting class, joining 6’10 Nolan Berry, 6’7 Andrew Chrabascz, and 6’2 Rene Castro.
Brown and the other new recruits will look to work to improve their team, and make a deep run in the NCAA tournament next year.
This recruiting class look to be one of Butlers best in years, and now it’s just a matter of time before that talent translates into Wins.
