Kobe Bryant Continues To Make History

It is amazing what Kobe Bryant has done in his 17 year career. The former Lower Merion High School superstar continues to defy his age as a superstar basketball player. Kobe has recently scored his 30,000 career point, and pass John Havlicek in field goals made in NBA History.
You can add one more accomplishment to his credentials. He has joined Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only 34 years olds to have six consecutive 30 plus point games in their career. He was tied with Michael Jordan with five. Kobe Bryant is still playing at the highest level.
Kobe’s drive to be great continues to drive him. Most superstars would be ready to hang it up and coast the rest of their careers. That’s what separates him from other superstars and puts him in the class of Michael Jordan. Kobe continues to play through injuries and continues to carry the Lakers on many occasions.
What we are witnessing may never be done again for sometime. We need to appreciate the things Kobe has given us throughout his NBA career, and the bottom line for him is still winning championships. Any season where he doesn’t hoist the Larry O’Brien trophy is a failure.
The Black Mamba is trying to reach that pinnacle again before he hangs his shoes up for good. Kobe is already considered an all-time great. He is arguably the greatest Laker of all-time. Is there anything this man can’t do? He is striving to help the Lakers win another title this season.
The Los Angeles Lakers are 11-14, but things are looking up with Nash comes back and Dwight Howard getting healthier. As long as you have Kobe; your team always has a shot. His accomplishments continue to grow and so is his legend in the game of basketball.
