As we all know, Kareem Abdul Jabbar is one of the greatest centers or perhaps the grestest center to ever stepped foot in the NBA. Kareem worked with Andrew Bynum in his 7 years as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers and look at him now, he’s the 2nd Best Center behind Dwight Howard in the NBA today.

Dwight Howard brings alot to the table in Los Angeles. He was selected 1st overall in 2004 by Orlando and hasn’t disappointed the Lakers organization throughout the years. Working with Kareem Abdul Jabbar is going to be a HUGE improvement for Howard, because Kareem knows something that Howard needs to improve on a little, and that’s foot working when he’s pivoting. Kareem can teach Howard how to be a leader as well, because in his years in Orlando, he had nobody’s trust and now that he has Kobe, Nash, Gasol on his team, he can learn to pass the ball more for open shots and be a playmaker as well. Even though Howard is a master at owning the paint, Kareem Abdul Jabbar can teach him his sky hook trick and quicker post moves because he was the master at it back in his days.

The Lakers sure improved with Howard because he fills in some parts Bynum couldn’t do much, like running the floor. Now that Los Angeles has a actual point guard and a dominant center like Dwight Howard, we might witness “The Showtime Lakers: PART 2″. Dwight Howard is known as a good center, but at the end of his career, he wants to be known as a great center just like his new teacher, The Great Kareem Abdul Jabbar.
