Recently, Detroit Lions’ running back Mikel LeShoure predicted he’d be back sometime this week. And he was correct today at the Lions practice facility in Allen Park.
Leshoure was out 13 days of camp, including the preseason opener against the Cleveland Browns. This is the last of the training camps before the second preseason game against the Ravens as the Lions have to fly out to Baltimore. Today the Lions did not practice in pads, so he did not get too much contact in.
You’ll see head coach Jim¬†Schwartz address if he will be getting any reps in ¬†the game with Baltimore sometime today or early tomorrow.
During the¬†regular¬†season it won’t matter, as LeShoure will already be missing time due to a¬†suspension¬†for the use of marijuana. Last season he had a torn¬†Achilles, so its time for Leshoure to prove himself, and justify his draft selection.
